Beer Review: Sam Adams Harvest Hefe

Sam Adams Harvest Hefe is a unique stand alone seasonal. Hefeweizen is a German Wheat beer, not usually made with flavoring or spices. However, Sam Adams took the classic Hefe and made it Harvest Hefe by adding classic Fall Spices.

(best beer pic I ever took)

The beer pours a light brown/dirty blonde, with a slight haze, and a huge foam cap that leaves lacing. Smells like nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, and bubble gum. The taste is more of the same, but not in a boring way. I never tasted a beer that liquefied the aromas like this one. Feels nice and crisp on the tongue, along with a yeasty twang. Overall not your regular Hefe, but nice tasting beer nonetheless.

*Harvest Hefe is under the supervision of the Star-K*
